The reference element has a non-interface method called mapping. It returns the "geometry" (embedding) of a subentitiy (of a static codimension). It seems to me that this method is silently becoming an interface method.
Therefore, I propose to make it officially an interface method. In my opinion, it should be called "geometry", because the returned object satisfies the geometry interface (it actually is an AffineGeometry). Moreover, I suggest to return this object by value for consistency with dune-grid.
In consequence, the method "global" will become redundant and should be deprecated. It was for the implementation of "global" that the "mapping" was introduced originally.
Any comments, suggestions?
