Description
There are al lot of tests in the configure tests, that are optional but run anyway. Christian, Peter and myself would like to change the procedure such that these tests are only run, if requested via an option to configure.
The tests that should only be run if requested are:
MPI (users who want to run in parallel should know what they are doing)
- ParMETS (not used)
- HDF5 (not used)
- expression templates (are they included into 1.0?)
I am not sure about the following (maybe Robert, Andreas or Mario can comment):
- blas
- grape
