Fix/issue 183 skipped tests

Just from reading it, I like your version over the one from @chrsti. Have you checked whether Christian's branch fix183 (https://gitlab.dune-project.org/core/dune-common/tree/fix183) is a viable solution, too? I'd like to resolve the issue today so that I can prepare the 2.7.0 release.
