regenerate PNG images
Trying to open the old files with "eog" or "gimp" only resulted in an error: "libpng error: PNG file corrupted by ASCII conversion"
Regenerating the PNG images with "fig2dev 1:3.2.8b-3" (Debian testing) solved this.
