notebook describing concepts and methods on operator/scheme is nore detail
Schemes and operators are the main API that the users sees from dune-fem
and in contrast to space
and discreteFunction
the exact meaning of the methods on the operators/schemes is not so clear.
We could have a notebook for each of the major concepts which goes into more details but scheme/operator
seems the must important one.
Would be good to have a notebook that focuses on the operator/scheme:
- what is the difference between operators and schemes
- what does
__call__
actually do, e.g., fill in-g
at the boundary for example - describe
aeemble
andlinear
and their differences - a brief summary of the implemented Newton solver would be nice
