Description
It is not used anywhere in the core modules. It appears to be a backward-compatibility mechanism for the transition from the static to the dynamic 'codim' argument of the subIndex/subId methods. Of course the file is not documented in any way. Since the transition to a dynamic 'codim' argument is done I think we should remove the file.
