Description
The m4 subdirectory of dune-common contains a test for hdf5. On some systems it is necessary to link additional libraries for hdf5 to work. Therefore there is also a configure switch "--with-hdf5-libs" included in the test. However, if the libraries are not in the standard search path, there is no possibility to give the path to look for them. The dune standard pathes set with e.g. LDFLAGS are also not passed to the m4 test. Thus configure fails to verify that hdf5 works on systems where the libraries are in special directories. Or at least I was too dump to find the right way.
