[WIP] Make BlockedLexicographic the default index merging strategy.

The brief documentation claims that BlockedLexicographic is used although actually LeafBlockedInterleaved is passed on.

While this could be a mere documentation bug, I think that the BlockedLexicographic is more generic (and is also used as a default index merging strategy for composite nodes) and was intended here.

(!62 (merged) is a MR for the documentation fix, that does not change any functionality - please merge either and delete the other.)
